Print & Play: Practicing Kindness

Here’s something we can all agree on: The world needs more kindness.

For children, learning how to be kind to others starts at an early age – and often begins with close observation of the adults around them. How do the adults in their lives treat others? How are they treated in return? While kindness is a beneficial social skill, the benefits of teaching kindness to your child extend far beyond good manners. Learning how to be kind to others and themselves helps kids grow into happy, well-rounded humans who have a greater sense of belonging, positive self-esteem, compassion for others, and so much more. Not only that, but taking the time to teach your kids kindness is a great reminder for adults, too!
